Good sides of outsourcing PM

My experience shows that outsourcing PM gives an added value not only for the project but also for the organization. When having a PM with a fresh view, no connections and low level of knowledge about the organization, he has a very independent opinion about the situation.

Also, depending on the type of the project, it can be helpful to have outsourced PM service when the project is very risky or brings a lot of changes e.g. cost cutting. People don't like changes. Better hire external PM to do the job and let him free after the project finishes.
